Sea Temple or locally known as Tokong Laut is probably the best of Perhentian Island dive sites. Situated out northwest of Perhentian Kecil, around a cluster of rocky outcrops, it consists of many large boulders that descend gradually to a depth of about 30 meters. The boulders in the shallower depths are covered with a spectacular array of colorful soft corals, while those lower down have black coral, gorgonians and sea fans. Marine life includes green turtles, several kinds of trigger fish, unicorn fish, and a few types of sharks. Whale sharks have been spotted here, but not often.
